Really cool thread. Well done you blokes pretty good work, for sure.
I have a DVD of Simon Murray's called Users Guide to Auto Air Colors, he is reputed to be the leading air brush artist in Europe. He does a whole car in water based paints , bloody incredible work to say the least. DVD shows Prep, Masking, uses a Sata mini gun and air brushes, highlighting,sealers and clears. Really wild job on a riceburner. TCP Global on USA Ebay sell all that airbrush, flakes and paints, stencils.

Another car , the orange turned out AWESOME!!!!
Sweet, that orange is actually really nice.


Here is my first project since uni has finished, it is my bike helmet which was in need of a updated paint job.
I always find it hard trying to figure out what to put on each project, so again its just some random things.

The clear seemed to lay down really well, but i went ahead and colour sanded, then finished off with the pinstriping.

Doing well Gus, some pretty nice stuff you got there, orange looks mint.

Anyway I just about have finished my latest job for a mates mate.... Here's some pics. The bonnet took 18 hours of my time on & off for about the best part of a week & a half.

I have a tip for you... put a shadow under the spiders legs , makes it look more 3D , i'll dig up a photo and show you what i mean.

Yeh I was gonna drop a shadow, then I couldn't be bothered doing it haha so will see what happens, may put the shodow in, does look better.

Anyway here's another piece on the car...
