77 HX Premier

Just bought myself this 1977 Hx Premier. All matching numbers car. Full resto done. Big difference to the VE SS! It had stock rims and tyres so I lowered it and put the 15” GTS rims on.

Really nice colour - Is it a v8 and manual or auto?
can i ask how much you paid for it , roughly?

the thought of having an old girl like this(or a XA-XC era Ford) as a weekender seems appealing - seems they are getting harder to find in this type of condition now though

Just a note , i see some HX-HZ premiers seem to have the bumper overrides but others don't - wonder if it was factory option or something

I think they may have been a dealer fitted acccessory.

Thanks for the comments. Colour is Antelope. Its a 202 Tbar auto full resto done to it. Im the second owner all original rebuilt running gear, 159000km. Costs plenty to buy these days but only going up in value now.

I had a HJ Premier 202 Tbar in Antelope. Beaut colour, beaut car. Very comfy seats, it seemed that the Prem had bigger buckets that the Kingy - I know that’s not likely true but that was the impression. Had compliments from passengers on the comfort of the car when giving lifts.
