Vc commodore
Hi guys I have a vc commodore (202, Auto) and am wanting to put a 304(355) with a manual trans. I am leaning towards a t56. I love some advice on this, I’m assuming it’s a fairly common conversion. I would love a list on everything needed to make this possible. I have tried to do a bit of research but am getting mixed answers.
Will the transmission fit without modification to the floor? Do you use adapter plate or a whole different bell housing? What’s the go with the pedal box? Do you have a cable or hydraulic clutch set up? What clutch is suitable? What’s the go with wiring and ecu?

Would really appreciate any advice.
Sorry if this has already been talked about.

Cheers Jackson.

Have a chat to Mal Wood he is the main importer of 6060s and T56s. If there is a kit to make it work he should have one.

I'd suggest getting a hydraulic clutch if you can. The clutch on mine is pretty heavy and I have a slave cyl. I'd think a cable would be a fair old workout.
