Anyone know which lower windscreen plastics needed to refit VY bonnet from a Monaro bonnet??

I think the UK Monaros have the wrong plastics, I think I'll have to try and find a VY or VZ

Anyone know which lower windscreen plastics needed to refit VY bonnet from a Monaro bonnet??

I have a Monaro bonnet fitted to my ute and want to refit the original bonnet but don't have the plastics which are different at the bottom of the windscreen. I am not in Oz so I need to see hopefully if a UK spec Monaro one might be the same or possible a VU as there might be a dead one kicking...

Thanks for your input guys. Big beer belly Rory looks as if he eats people for fun. It's given me something to think about I'll just have to see what happens.

Artistic flare needed. Holden equivalent of Super Roo. ??

The crewman ute ins't mine it was owned by a guy over here who has moved back to Oz but I don't think it is still on the island any more. I think If I had a Rory on my ute people would be talking about me and not in a good way. I am thinking of a cartoon style similar to the Super roo that looks...

Artistic flare needed. Holden equivalent of Super Roo. ??

Super chicken is well um different, but yet somewhat amusing. :rofl2: Meat pie kangaroo, football and the V8 look I think maybe a bit much. but good thinking. And I suppose I think it would be more of an Aussie thing I need rather than a Manx link, but the Manx cat/Lion V8 look maybe pretty...

Artistic flare needed. Holden equivalent of Super Roo. ??

I need to rack your brains!! I have always liked the Super Roo on XY GT's and want to make a sticker but a Holden version, I have seen a Rhino version but yet again on a Ford. Is there anyone out there with some artistic flare or just an idea of what would look pretty cool? I live on the...

LS1 Crank shells in car change?

I noticed the rattle at about 2000 rpm and I don't think it is lifters as it only seems to be at roughly 2k rpm.

LS1 Crank shells in car change?

The ute has 78,000 miles aprox 125,000 km, my speedo has been converted to miles. The noise isn't there all the time I would say when it's hot rather than a cold engine. I guess it would be better it being lifters than the bottom end as I don't mind doing the top of the motor. I presume that...

LS1 Crank shells in car change?

I meant the conrod bigend shells more than the mains bearings, it has a bit of a rattle now and then I suppose it sort of sounds like its pinkin' (pinging) at lower revs more in traffic rather than reving. It is a tad hard to decide where the noise is coming from as it only happens when you are...

LS1 Crank shells in car change?

I have an LS1 engined VY SS ute and have noticed a little rattle from the engine and was thinking it might be worth changing the crank shells and was wondering how easy it is to do with the engine still in the ute. Can anyone please give some advise?

Thanks, I've bought a mag subscription for 10 copys for the normal mag and I'll see what I can sort out from there.

    Commodores Utes magazine

I was wondering how often the Commodores utes magazines are out and can you get them by mail order? as I am on the other side of the globe. I have family still living in W.A but the local newsagent said he doesn't know when they are available and seems to be pretty unhelpful.

    Supercharged LS1 Manx SS ute

I had thought of importing a ute before buying this one but I couldn't deal with the hassle if anything went wrong import wise Ritchie. I have just fitted a new set of front discs and pads from Reyland Motorsport, I was going to re-anodize the brake bells but they aren't made of the nicest...
