Did you sort this problem out yet?
I had the same thing. Replaced wheel bearings, brake rotors etc. nothing worked.
Eventually noticed that the dust cover plate for the centre bearing on the tailshaft was causing the noise. A pair of tin snips and the noise never returned
has anyone got a wiring diagram, or knows what each pin of the holden auto ride levelling sensor does?
i could not be lazy and test it but i thought id try save some time haha

I have a 6 speed manual vz ute, motor has been nothing but problems. unless your gonna granny it id say vy!
i got rid of the dual flywheel mate, had a look at the tailshaft coupling, there what looks like rubber plate which is pretty torn, could thisbe causing it or is it only a cover?
i have a manual vz v6, around 3000rpm the car gets a violent shake for a few seconds till you gain speed, thriugh all the gears. its not the motor cause it dissapears when you push the clutch in.
anyone experienced this? or know what it could be?
these alloytec motors should have an oil change every 5000-10000 kms. youll kill the motor otherwise, anyone correct me if im wrong but its what ive been told a few times
the vu is the old ute, its now a vz. put it on a scan tool and have closedit down to cylinder 3. were thinking a bearing, have to do more pulling apart -.-

okay so i had a rattle in the motor, mechanic said timing chains were stretched so he replaced guides chains and a tensioner pulley (mechanic is trusted by the way) put it all back together and now theres still a noise, anyone experienced this? i just want the f**king thing fixed. im over these...
