253, M20,. The exterior has been painted at some stage.

Just was curious, how many Ac systems were used in the vh
And also i have another one which you might be able to help me with.. any idea what the name of the dark blue interior is in vh?, and if there is anything similiar to it, ive got a problem where im gettin some vinyl paint mixed up, and funny as it seems, my arm rest blue is slightly darker from the rest of the dash,, not a great deal but next to each other you can tell the difference.

nah sorry mate, I've only fitted up a 044 (external) to my VH

Hey mate you posted on one of my threads a little while ago recommending to use a Bosch 040. Just wondering if you've had any experience in fitting them up?

hey Justin, it's a VN V8 80L tank, although a V6 tank will also work. I'm using the factory intank pickup pump, but I've also got a Bosch 044 external pump. And the straps are a straight fit (providing the tank comes out of a vehicle with a live axle, IRS tank straps need some modification) All you need to do is modify the filler neck and wiring for the sender

is it a v6 or v8 tank and are you using the factory intank pump??
did the new straps line up exactly??

hi after some info hopefully. ive got a vq 5ltr and auto to put in my vh commodore which was a 253 auto. wanting to know about the wiring,trans crossmember,fuel line,power steering and auto shifter? and workshops that would be able to help with any of these items. any help would be amazing thanks
