2.0 litre VN for auction in Australia!

They're very hard to come by though... I honestly had never known they existed before seeing this thread... Holden also fitted a few VP Commodores with the 2.3 Turbo 4 cylinder from Saab... The engine made more power than the 3.8, but unfortunately they never went into production...

2.0 litre VN for auction in Australia!

This is the first time I've ever heard of a 4 cylinder VN Commodore, and it really doesn't seem right at all... I realise NZ got some oddballs like an RB20 VL, but at least that was a 6 cylinder... How much longer did they put 4 cylinders in Commodores (obviously excluding ZB)?

Looking at buying a 2004 ra rodeo 3.5 petrol 4x2

These are also rebadged Isuzu's so you could head to their forums, or FB page for some info...

Looking at buying a 2004 ra rodeo 3.5 petrol 4x2

Not an expert on these cars, but here is a general guide on what to check when buying a used car (there is also a video available, and an off-road vehicle guide on their channel)

    VT calais 98

I'd test the battery voltage first... If that's all good than follow the advice above

    Forum's quiet

I haven't tbh... Probably because I don't log on and post as much as I once did, though I'm on here occasionally...

Need your opinion/assessment on possible project I'm thinking about ...

Holden did make the Adventra, which can be had with an LS1 V8 and AWD, and they're quite capable with some mods... There's a YouTube channel which takes these cars off-road called "All Terrain Action," and they also have an account on this forum too...

Sorry for your loss. My condolences go to you and your family. As @Fu Manchu said, it's best to put the 308 into the 80's Hilux body, and I reckon you should just keep the VX as a daily, or as a memory of your father... Putting the VX body onto the Hilux is impossible (or very very difficult)...

Yep, and most of them are dead unfortunately, except for Australian Ford Forums which has a similar layout to 2005 Just Commodores...

    VE Commodore Sedan-Headliner sagging

Not sure... Mine is a Series 1.5, meaning it has the series 1 aesthetics with the series 2 driveline...

    VE Commodore Sedan-Headliner sagging

Oh right okay... Won't be putting any thicker insulation or getting a very thick material so that shouldn't be an issue, just a regular replacement... Will definitely get somebody else to help if I was to attempt the job myself... Thankyou for your help Fu Manchu, and thankyou to everybody who...

Thanks heaps for the links... Haven't seen the Calais thread in a while so I'll have to have a look for that one... Edit: I've only seen (and commented on) your goodbye thread on the Calais, not the actual build thread
