thanks Matt
I just used the standard VN speed sensor. I have a Kalmaker SP3 ECU (real time programmable Delco). So I adjusted the ECU VSS ppk parameter in the ECU with my laptop to get the correct reading.
You could either get someone who can recode your memcal to correct the input or I'm fairly sure there is some sort of convertor box you can run in series. Might be worth checking on the PCM Hacking website. They might have a simple circuit that you can build.
The wiring was fairly simple. I kept the standard wiring to the ECU, just spliced into the speed sensor wire (at the ECU connector) and ran that wire back to the speedo.
any other questions feel free to ask
cheers
Darren
