I remember as a kid Rod Marsh doing the unthinkable in one dayers, frustrating a bowling line up as he either managed to hit the ball and crack a few 6s or got caught. It was before keepers could hit. I think it was against the WI crack team of that era and they assumed they had it wrapped up as the recognised batsmen fell, and Marsh kept hitting boundaries and put the WI victory in doubt. Cant remember if we won or not... just remember being on the edge of the seat. And then we expected it every game.

What to say about Warne. Fantastic spin bowler, not to bad with the bat. I bet he was pissed off at getting out on 99. He would have so relished getting that 100. Australia was on top of the world at that time in the cricket arena and a lot of that was due to him. His private life is just that, his private life. Who cares what he got up to. I certainly wouldn't have complained about being friends with Liz Hurley.

Can't have your cake and eat it too. When you trade off your fame and use it to make money what goes on in your life is public, the good, the bad and the ugly.

I have little sympathy for celebrities who use the media when it suits their needs and then claim privacy when it doesn't. All in or all out.

I don’t get that. You’re either fit to drive or you’re not. After all, you can still kill a lot of people whether you’re driving a car, a forklift, or a road train.

I think this was Shane’s problem. He wanted to do all the bad things which are not good for your body, although he knew he shouldn’t, yet he wanted to take the quickest route to make himself look good hence all the quick fix diets and diuretic pills etc. I’m sure a lot of people who struggle with their weight and looks go down this track instead of being more disciplined about their diet and exercise. You can have your cake and eat it, but somewhere down the line you will probably pay the price

Not 100% of the ins and outs but all I know is he has to get a letter from his doc once a year to hand to the licencing dept to satisfy he is fit to drive with the pills the doc subscribes to him...

My fuckwit brother in law had a heart attack in December. He had his second vax in late October and was slack getting his 3rd vax. He blames the vaccination, however, he failed to inform the doctors that when they asked if her drank, he didn't tell them 3 cases of mid strength a week and 1 to 2 bottles of Jack Daniels. I was up his place a few years back and we nearly came to blows because he asked me if I wanted a drink so I mixed about 2 caps of JD with Coke and then watched him drink the rest in 4 glasses. He has his "drink cup" a plastic glass that holds about 600 ml. He is not an alcoholic.........says he.
