Honestly no one is going to notice they are slightly lighter or darker. Take into account for paint fade.

Once they are on the car no one will say boo.

If that's what straight solid comes out like I think I will go with solid. It will work out a lot cheaper.
You want originality and $ cheap haha, just paint them, they will never match original colour, its the future man, 20 years later, stop your fussing woooo man :)
Gee even FU just painted his okay with Bunnings paint.

I get looked after but I pay $60 a litre and $40 for a half litre if it's a little job and I don't want spare. I'll take you a photo of my manifold that's painted in it. I think it'd look fine on wheels. Depends how fussy you are on it being exact.
What do you reckon 1/2 litre for, four rims. I didn't even go through 1/2 litre on my bar cover for the old ute, probably 300mls with hardener and thinners added. I went through about one pot to prime them.
