I've done a lot of searching, but cannot find out how tight to do the upper sway bar link bush.
Can anyone help.

Measure the fastener diameter, then google 'standard torque for a 'xmm' fastener'.

Fine, but the nut compresses the rubber bushes, so it will not necessarily be the same as if it was a plain bolted connection.

Tighten it up until it is firm......If you get no noise after tightening it up when you drive over bumps,it is tight enough
