Sub & amp install, no aux signal problem. VE Omega

Hey guys, just installed a Sub & Amp into my partners VE Omega & for some reason, its not reading any Aux connections. She has a aftermarket rear Aux cable loom but its not even reading front aux. Tried going straight from the normal loom into the headunit & still no aux keeps coming up when we press the button. We tapped into the brown & yellow wire behind the headunit for the remote cable.
All speakers, sub & amp working fine. Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening? Any help would be muchly appreciated.
