My VB SLE Commodore

Well the project starts, I've just purchased this 1979 VB SLE Commodore. I will arrive in Perth in a few days. I will need advice with the restoration project, brake upgrade kits, steering, etc. I will want to keep it mostly original but add some good improvements for an everyday driver.

Keep an eye on the Torque Hub (from Aussie V8’s forum) guys on The YouTubes. They are doing a VB or is it VC build at the moment

Keep the wipers on the headlights.

I suspect velour making a bit of a comeback in builds. Don’t write it off as dated. Recently seen 3 builds where velour was used instead of leather.

Simplifying that engine bay.

Keep the Iron Lion. They too are desirable again with their superior song to that of the LS.
