Looking for Aircon Compressor

Hi all
We are desperately trying to locate a replacement air con compressor for our beloved 2006 Holden Adventra SX6. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried Holdenand they said this part is obsolete. Called a few wreckers - no go there either. The part number is 92182565. If we can’t get this fixed we’re going to need a new car.

Is there a wreckers hotline in your state? Get it put over that

If you were in S.A, I'd throw a few wreckers names at you and a good chance you'd have one within the hour

Hi VC Commodore thanks for your reply. We are not in SA but we be willing to pay postage if we can do it that way whatever it takes. Pls give me a couple of names and I will call them tomorrow

Can they not be overhauled? Surely there’s someone who can do that?

You can't get them aftermarket through an auto aircon shop?

And did Holden say the part was superseded by something else or not? Obsolete part doesn't necessarily mean that there's no genuine replacement.

It's not specific to the Adventra because of the positioning of the AWD system is it?
