Hey all first post i think. I've just acquired some very nice BMW X5 M Spec 19x9 and 19x10 wheels they bolt on ok don't rub on anything but the rears do have a bit to much poke for my liking. There is surprisingly heaps of room on inside so I was hoping there might be a narrower diff crade or swing arm set I could swap in.

I've got a big banger turbo build nearly ready to drop in so I need all the traction I can get. As above 275/30/19 on rear.

Any ideas I'm pretty handy fabricator so can fab a solution if I need too but bolt in would be nice.

No.
If you want a custom length you need a 4 link live axle built to suit.

Well that's not technically correct. VT-VZ are all the same. VR/VS are narrower but I believe that is in the subframe and not the swing arm and then there is the VP which had a different offset in the wheel hub in the IRS arm but I can't remember which way the offset was. VP IRS used a 30p offset where as VR/VS used a 45p offset wheels.

Somewhere on the forum there are comparison photos between the different IRS wheel hubs but I'm not sure where.

This is the only photo I can find but it doesn't show which is which.

I do think it was the VP IRS that has the smaller offset wheel hub but I'd think you'd be hard pressed to find any VP IRS hubs these days.
