Removed shoes and degreased spindles.
They look alright.

New bearing shells and bearings and rear seal in the hubs.
Shoes on, hub on, drum on.

I got the wheels on.
And then checked the mail box and the drive flange gaskets have arrived.
But I need to decide what to do about this free-wheeling hub inner . Which I knew was questionable last time I re-fitted it.

I've just realised that I never updated this further.
I reached out on a FB Landrover group I frequent. And a guy had a matching hub. After starting to chat, realised he was the Torana driver from the wedding a year earlier when I drove the SS for my friends. I've got photos of them both together for it.
Anyway, he gave it to his old man who lives across town from me (less than 10mins) and I picked it up from there. His old man looks to be a Willy's Jeep man.
Anyway, I didn't paint the locking hub, just fitted it. It looks out of place, and that reminds me of maintenance of them for longevity.
Since then, the truck has done a pickup run for bathroom vanity (1500), toilet, mirrors etc.
Another run for bails of insulation.
Another run for the shower base, glass, and all the tapware.
Now it's parked in the garage with 8-10 sheets of (6m) GIB leaning against it.
I guess I'm not driving it again until more of the renovations are done 'sigh'
