Broken nut on oil filter cap
Heya, I broke the nut off my VE's oil filter cap today while trying to bust the bastard loose. I wasn't the last one who serviced it, I guess they did it up way too tight. I went out and got a chain wrench and the rubber style strap wrench from Repco, but couldn't find the oil filter cup...- SpiceyP

Another broken oil filter cover
Faaarrrrkkk... In the middle of packing house to move to Brisbane. Decided to do an oil change before the 1800 km drive and broke the cap. I let it cool off a bit then attacked with an old flat head screwdriver and hammer. The metal is very soft so I would suggest gently tapping until you...- shanen
