Easiest and my favorite way of removing the top bolts on the bell housing is to pull the inlet manifold. 10 minute job and saves a lot of grief you can see the bolts. Just need the tool to remove the fuel line clip, few bucks at supercheap.

    Noisy L77

Only a guess but it may even be a broken timing chain tensioner/guide, sounds like its rubbing on the chain when it gets some whip after being revved, they are prone to fail on the gen 4 engines and an LS2 style dog bone is the best fix. You will be in there anyway if you DOD delete.

    07GTS Build Thread

I'm running the FPM 1500hp pumps so fpcm is bypassed and max pressure all the time, try not to run low fuel to avoid the heat. Have HP 2bar OS and use E85 50% of the time, have a target lambda of .78 at wot. Haven't had any fuelling issues at all to be honest except for a longer cranking time...

    07GTS Build Thread

I'm running Deatschwerks 88lb/hr which is just over 900cc and see duty cycles of around 85% at 6800rpm on E85, thinking some 1200's might go on the shopping list. Ignore the KR it randomly shows up like that especially when dealing with axle tramp.

    LSA heater hoses in Ls3

Yeah that's what comes with a Harrop kit but could be better, I routed mine behind the ABS bracket and put some sleeve around it, the yanks have a nice looking option too. Not sure how it transfers over to right hand drive though...

VF calais seat cover / base fix

Did my own fix using a pack of foldback clips from office works, think I used 3 per seat, just clip them on once the base trim is in place straight over the top of the plastic locator strip then remove the handles. Havent got pics and hard to see once the seat is refitted (removed seats from car...

Should be a minimum 30kw+ at the wheels gain, but I will say you have probably gone and upset half of the members of this forum with your choice in exhaust size.

    07GTS Build Thread

I tend to swap between 98 and 85 so often that there is nearly always some percentage of E85 showing, gotta love that flex fuel sensor, old fuel is never great for power but 8 degrees is fairly low. Max boost for me is around the mid 13's so that extra boost you are making certainly heats up...

    Running E85

217.9 at my local today, I run it fairly often just to keep some content in the tank because I too love that smell. I would not bother running E85 if n/a unless there was a lot more than stock compression involved.

    vy ls1 ecu relocation?

I've done this a couple of times as well and as Pollushon mentions it's just a have a go type job and not overly complex. The firewall grommet does need a little work and resealing once done, both times I have done this are due to turbo installs otherwise probably wouldn't have bothered

Ha, yes that is my quickest pass yet, 10.67 @135mph! was pretty happy with the trans tuning and feel it's heading in the right direction so a few more tweaks to the shift rpm's back out for another run and...........BANG.....that is what happens when you get some axle tramp on a fairly sticky...

PLEASE HELP!! VE SSV- o2 sensor codes after being replaced.

Running a full after market exhaust will usually mean that high flow cats have been installed. No-one here removed a steering wheel or changed out a clock spring? Not rocket science people. Does the car drive straight after the wheel alignment, did it drive straight before? Has the steering wheel ever been off in the cars 20 plus year life?
