The start relay gets power EVERY time you turn the key. The negative side of the relay coil dosent. This is controlled thru the BCM.

Car had mafless tune in 2008. So, drove 45mins home from work parked car. 20 seconds later tried to restart. No crank just a click. I can get it to crank via the key sometimes after turning multiple times it will fire but stop after 2 seconds. Tried 2x keys both lock/unlock car. Red padlock...
