Could some one advise me on the thermostat gasket. I bought a tridon TTG46 to put on my VY. However they do not seem to line up properly with bolt holes and bleeder hole. Is there another type of gasket l can put on instead of this cardboard cut out rubbish.

I have changed water pump, thermostat,heater tap and all hoses. Took it for a drive and all seemed OK no loss of power or signs of any problems. When l got home lifted the hood and noticed the radiator was boiling. Let it cooled then took cap off and idled it until it started to boil again...
