Wow thanks yeah is that an after market power steering cooler or transmission cooler?? I’m getting a transmission cooler as it used to be a transmission cooler but now identifies as a power steering cooler …. Or that’s what going to happen anyway if I have a say . It’s what Holden said to do‍♀️.

Yeah it’s not Holden specific but hey that’s how it goes these days and they getting hard to get unless second hand or aftermarket and that’s what Col from parts said- Any mechanic should know how to fit it to existing brackets.

Here is the crack, it had a plastic bit that should have been clipped to side of pane next to radiator but was just floating around on top of this pipe, knocking on it and with these pipes sitting directly on the lower body there means it was sitting in water and thus rusted through , no surprise.

Except it’s a transmission cooler but retrofitted to existing brackets yes but Holden said it’s what they put in place of the cooling rack as they were always hard to get apparently. Do you mean to get them done as well as I’m pretty sure he’s just doing the struts and top mounts (all but the springs swap out I think he said). Should I look at getting him to do the control arms and joints too??

Vz 2006 Ute. I have a rattle/knocking noise that’s slowly got worse over 2months (5000k). Is Lou deaf at 60kmph and strangely more heard on fairly flat roads (or what seems to be flat but isn’t). No difference if brake is on/off, not really any difference on corners or speeds, not wind chatter...
