I took a seat out and it was tight to stretch back. I didnt want to wreck it so took to a auto trimmer. Needed leather conditioner to soak in to let it all relax and then he fixed it up for me. I took one seat at a time and it cost me 100 per seat. Perfect now.

Bought a Racebox Mini S this week after messing around with Apps that were unreliable. Decided to take the child restraint connection, welded a 1/4 inch bolt to it and added a swivel camera mount. Good for the Racebox or a GoPro if wanting a rear cab view. Anyone else using racebox?

Everything worked out well. Drilled, tapped and installed. Just need to run them in a little before next track day.

Ok Guys please dont laugh at my welding :eek: I added an L plate at the front and the rear to help prevent the bottom being pushed or pulled to get any peddle movement. I will still add a switch somewhere soon. I think this will be a bit more of a pain the arse for the average car thief now.

Im sure a brand name unit would sound better etc. I mainly wanted to get access to apps. Poweramp was needed to get this sounding good. otherwise it might have gone in the bin ;) Didnt want to spend too much on it.

I just installed one of these last month. Some plugs needed to be updated by the seller but was very helpful and getting it all sorted. Under $300 I bit of messing around but finally have it the way i like it. Needed a couple of app purchases to getting working and sounding nice. Android auto...

You might not need to spend $100 on a lock if the plate was designed to cover the lock from access to cutters or grinders.

And could be designed to be very difficult to cut off quickly

Got me think about welding something up for my clutch and brake. It then disables the start switch not being able to push clutch in.

Does anyone know of fuel pump wire to disable?

That brake plate looks great. I have a manual. Yes i just want to add another layer. Most thieves wouldnt dig too far if not straight forward.

Start stopper wouldnt work on pump as it only stays active for 25 sec then disconnects. Just to allow starting car. Fuel pump would be best with on off switch.

Do you know where to find wires to fuel pump. Under rear seat and wire colours? A switch on this would be good. I have seem a lot on youtube adding one to start button also.

I have thought about this too. If I go down that route i might have to go to koya for some custom 18s Or try the Pilot Sport Cup 2 next. Cost double price of 18s tho

I have started doing track days so wanted a little extra up front. I like the red/yellow calipers but I dont like the stock pbr painted red/yellow (rear) so decided on the subtle black look ;) Soon I might look at Kmac camber caster options.

I would not have attempted it. Leaving up to a shop that has done it before.

It worked out ok in the end now that these guys are happy to fit. It has put my mind at ease. I was comparing these with VF calipers as best I could online and it looks like the same casting size with different size holes.

I just had a chat with a performance workshop that i have been meaning to try. I have booked a service and they are also happy to re tap the thread and fit up the new calipers and discs for me. This will be done in the new year. Now I might think about painting them :rolleyes:

I think the bolts are ok but the caliper was not labeled right on their site.

i ordered new VF brembo VF front bolts. They are too big. Unless the bolts are not correct.

yes VF brembo bolts arrived today. They look 14mm. Def too big for the caliper.

Bugger the bolt size on the caliper is not 14mm :(

Rock Auto are a bunch of legends!! Delivered in 7 days for $628 I am leaving the standard SS rear calipers. They are black. I dont think i want them another colour. Should I keep the front silver or paint black with white Brembo logo? Silver car, silver wheels

Do the decals normally have clear coat over them or can they some off easily if needed?
