    Searching for thread manualized auto!!

    Have you tried fiddling around with the park/neutral sensor on the side of the box? If that isn't lined up properly it won't start in park or neutral. We had that issue when engine swapping my mates vs a while ago coz we pulled the box out too

    That was the first thing that I checked.... Coming too think of it though, is there any way it could be the vacuum solenoid? I just remembered when I was cleaning the heads, I soaked them in a degreaser/petrol bath for 24hrs then put them in a parts cleaner and forgot too take the solenoid off...

From memory I'm pretty sure the VG and VP ute carried the same rear diff housing and suspension for the V6 models...
