don't have a tech2 but I do have a audtel scanner it reads most of the codes

there was a little grit in the pan nothing to bad tho fluid was a little burnt but seen worse

I drove the wreck before and after it was damaged and 1/2 hour before I pulled the box out

I unplugged the trans plug and test drove the car it ran in 3rd gear so you are saying that then that means the shift solenoid a is no good Yes ? is there any other causes ? I drove the car the box came out of just before I pulled the box out and it was fine then that's all all the gear...

ok I will give that a try today

shifter is all good it runs drives in reverse and in drive just wont shift out of 1st gear you up to 100k's (4000revs) and it wont change gears

checked and double checked

the trans was out of a running drive wreck shifted fine in it I used same convertor that was with the box flushed the trans line's had then out of car But I didn't flush the trans cooler for got that 1 checked all the wiring plugs etc all look good trans fluid level is good I cant think...
