Can anyone shed any light on the purpose of the insert pictured? This is what melted into the bituminous crap that I have taken a photo of in the "What did you do to your VR/VS today". The insert is half way out with the metal retainer removed,and actually fits inside of the filler joiner.

Hi all, just doing the lower intake manifold gasket on a VS. My question is; is it possible to install the intake manifold on it's own (ie without injectors and plenum.) Or does it have to be installed as a 'unit'? Cheers,Mark.

Just chasing fault codes for vr v6 but all links in any posts that come up via search return an error message. Am after code list specifically,even searching 'code list' returns an error message. Any ideas? TIA Cheers,Mark.
