@Anthony121 I plugged the usb cable into the box and it has a 3.5 also but I did not plug anything into it. I only use the usb for firmware updates. Also I am not sure about notifications I just enabled notifications on the CarPlay in the setting and then it started reading messages on it own.

@Anthony121 Mine came with the ubs/ 3.5 cable in the box or is there a different cable ? Also when I get a message it reads it straight away same as WhatsApp messages I just had to turn on notifications in CarPlay for it to work.

You need to extract the holden folder to the root of the usb key to update the system software then you need to setup everything again as it will be defaulted. The second file is for mcu which u extract to the usb key on its own to update it also.

Thanks for all the info @stooge. Is there any modification you can see or think would be good to make or change in the firmware? They supply the factory password so you can enable features and yes you are right about the manufacture that who I contacted directly to get the update from.

That is good to know would be good to have it modified to support showing the volume and the external temp which is missing but I have no experience in this.

If I disconnect the MyLink Bluetooth the audio stops straight away unless you plug in the Aux cable for the audio to play.
