Hey can some tell me if this is standard on a VS please Its actually connected into the brake lines, when brakes are applied it realeases tension on the rod ?

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I actually found one close to home in mackay they will even cut it out and post it, cannot recommend bakers creek wreckers enough. Figjam my guess would be accident for sure, maybe tree stump or front wheel came off. The chassis itself is still straight
