    VE Commodore engine mount replacement

Don't remove the subframe bolts completely otherwise you're going to have a big problem. You just need to lower it half way

    VE Commodore engine mount replacement

Here in Australia, the right side was actually easier with a normal rachet and small normal depth socket...you have the right idea about not clicking the socket all the way into the rachet. I can't see from your photo whether the wheel is off but if it isn't, you should take it off. Then sit...

    VE Commodore engine mount replacement

Maybe easier to remove the exhaust? Have you tried a bending rachet with just the socket attached (not a deep socket) Can you lower the subframe half way to give you more room ?

    Ve series 2 sv6

As above, there could be another underlying issue or issues that are causing the DTC bring logged. What's the fault code you're receiving? Have you checked live data for fuel trims?

how many kms does the 2006-13 (generation) sv6 ve sidi sedan last for

I sold a WM caprice with a LLT (SIDI) engine which had done 310,000kms. It was still going strong except for burning a bit of oil.

    Fixd OBD readers

Generally speaking, all OBD readers should work with all cars from year 2000. You won't have any issues using the Fixd device on a VE commodore

Another VE front end clunk thread.... SOLVED

There are also ball joints on the tie rod ends so they should be checked and whilst you're there, you should check the rack ends too. Also have you checked the engine mounts and transmission mount ?

    Idle Speed High VE SS

Try disconnecting the battery for an extended time (like over night) or going for a long drive with various speeds between 20km/h to 80km/h.

    Cranks but won't start

Have you checked the obvious...is there fuel in the tank? Can you hear the fuel pump prime when key is turned to the Reds position? Perhaps remove and check the purge valve...if you can blow straight through it it's faulty.

    Transmission cooler pipe leaking again

There is but it's a long way away from where it connects to the transmission. Last time the transmission mount caused the leak and this time it was the engine mounts that caused the leak.
