For electric motors you wont need to find one that revs that high, You will have all sorts of trouble with transmission and couplings. There are specific motors for ev conversions around the 100KW mark. Take a look at UQM Technologies Mike

I don't think that efilive4 (even the full version) can do much to edit your ecu. I think you need a different cable and program. Mike

I have a VX SII and the only problem I have had is the the fuel gauge sender unit was sticking, telling me I have 1/4 a tank of fuel when it was dry. Apparently this is a common fault. Otherwise the car has been fine. Mike
