My goal with this build is to have a high performance gemini that when people see it and realise whats involved they step back and appreciate the effort i've gone too compared to someone that wants a "good enough" build. This will be my SLR 5000, not a skid pig tonne ute

If i can throw $10k into the engine and get close to 200rwkw then when i drop the engine into a car that only wieghs 900kg with fully upgraded suspension, brakes and tyres, i should have a pretty decent car.

It's still there as a thought to throw the stroker in just weighing it up at the moment. This all gets under way about easter next year hopefully so i've got time to consider my options

Forged internals, ported heads, mild/race cam with matching rockers, twin timing chain, machined oil pump cover. Everything will be replaced with brand new parts except the block. I cant justify $4500 for an alloy block. I'm not sure on what comp i'm aiming for yet. There will be a 2500-2800...

Im told that $10k will turbo the 4 pot and give me 170-180 rwkw. I want to be able to reach more than that from the n/a. And if i can get similar power to weight ratios as a current hsv then i'll be happy (which is 190-225kw per tonne on a complete guess)
