Mine just did the same … scanner flagged front left wheel sensor … unplugged and plugged connector at wheel a few times … alarm went away didn’t return
You would think ….but they don’t do that one … same seal/ trim fits vn-Vs wagons… mine has shrunk from all those years in the sun and the gap ruins the look … I’d probably just cut the seal and glue it to the original one if I find one so it fits up flush and there’s no gap
Hi I was wondering if anyone has come across this rubber seal that sits in the valley between glass and panel on a vp or vn wagon tailgate .
ive been looking for a long time for anyone making new ones……….i have to buy the complete tailgate to get it secondhand .
I think on some cars the booster is quite close to the drivers side valve cover …4.9 litre 308s have a clearance cutout so it doesn’t touch and installing the booster even means taking the valve cover off.
I found the shaft of the booster is actually 14mm in diameter so you know what I did ….cut...
I have a vz with ve calipers on 330 discs but you need an adapter bracket to space it out …I knocked it up from 12mm plate and a 4mm spacer to put the caliper in the middle of the disc .The plate was a dogbone arrangement with 2 sets of 2 12mm holes with 18mm between their centrelines …been...
I found there was a front big brake kit that rda offered as a upgrade kit using ve calipers and ford territory redrilled 330 discs many moons ago and there was a few issues with the dog bone adapters cracking …..I
made my own and I used 12mm flat plate and a spacer of 5 or 6mm . I think it was...
Hi With the 315 rear discs problem was that it required the caliper to go towards the outside of the adapter hub so if you used flat steel as a adapter plate I had to cut into the old boltup face to clear the new caliper position as in the pictures….the original hsv caliper bracket that uses the...
This all started after I changed engines so I naturally assumed it was the sender so I just swapped them over but it didn’t change …..thought it musnt have a thermostat then so I checked and it did and it was closed when cold so I assumed it was working still .
I found to check the temp sender...
‘’If you are silly enough to take Tridon data as gospel that's fine, but having dealt with VN-VP's for 30 years i'm saying there is differences in the resistance on sender Units that causes the Temp. gauge to barely move, may not be your problem but at least check it out by replacing sender.last...
If you look on the Tridon it lists a gauge sensor TTS062 for all models in my vp range…but changes to TTS064 in vs ..the only other difference is the other sensor that feeds the ecu that changes from TCSO40 to TCS070 on vs Ecotec engines
I have a vp with a v6 engine and have a strange issue with my temp gauge ..it takes a lot to get it moving off cold and it just gets to over 1/4 before I hear the fans cut in . It has a L3 dash and when I had a cooling fan relay issue and fan didnt start and engine temp went up ….the over temp...
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction…tried a few searches and it pointed me to a ad on eBay with the same centre and they are selling it as a vn clubsport and want 1700ish for complete wheel
