I used this method using a tyre valve to clean them also using a 9v battery to open the injectors, I also changed the filters using a 10g screwed in to the top , and a pair of vice grips to pull like hell, the filter should come out with the screw.
Just because of the age of the vechile, with the new injectors it ran great it gave me economy 7.3/100km
It was just the hard starting ..

I'll be testing tomorrow morning now. Can only work up the energy to pull it apart once a day .
I tried turning the key multiple times before cranking to make sure the rail is primed, it still does a long crank often requires a second crank then starts runs a little rough for a second then it...
Unfortunately it's not fixed,It was difficult to see underneath all 6 as It was difficult to lift the back ones up that were attached to the rail ..
i'm going to put 5 old ones in, and at the front of the rail I'm going to put a new one with paper towel underneath and prime the rail, I'll test...
Well I found one with an internal leak .. it wasn't a big leak but I guess it doesn't need to be ..
So I've got 5 new injectors and 1 old at the moment.
I've had the car started, I'll go back out soon and try to start it and see if it does the longer crank after sitting ..
Yeah .. I thought about leaving some paper towel under the injectors.. good idea to prop the plenum up .. I'll report tomorrow morning my findings ..
