Yep. I intend on taking it for a test thrash over the next few days.. I don't want to fork out cash for part that don't need replacing if they don't need it.
I'm not even sure what it is let alone front or rear hubs. I'm just trying to eliminate as I go.. it's definitely wheels or suspension. I can coast down a hill at 65 with the car in neutral and the sound is still there. Accelerating or braking doesnt affect it either. Really obvious between 60...
I've got a drumming/hum at 60 to 80kmph. It's not balance or alignment.
Disappears at 100+
Car has 330k on it so they may be a bit worn. Not enough to feel movement when jacking up and checking bearings but I'm thinking early stages of failure.

I'm in market for some new front wheel bearings. I don't want to get genuine due to cost so does anyone have any recommendation for a decent aftermarket brand I should look for or are they all similar SE asian quality.

So still haven't found the cause.
I have rotated the front wheels to the back and ir didn't make any difference.
I also noticed it happens if I am rolling down a hill at 60 to 70 with no accelerator and even if I put the auto in neutral I can still feel/hear it.
