yep mate she has got the hole in the butterfly ,no sweat steve tuner is going to sort it out for me and he said will not be a problem just has to have a fiddle with the idle settings in the tune and she will be all spot on cheers

hiSteve, bolted the throttle body on this weekend ,started her up and she was not happy idled way too low and decided to take it off and put the stockie one back on idled as normal straight away so have decided will be going to my engine/tuner man and he can bolt it back on and re set the idle...

another thought.... Just purchase a 383 stroker kit from Pavtek/come etc hone block 10thou etc for new pistons punches out to approx 6.3ltrs do all the usual cam/heads etc and for the same outlay as a ls2 you will have more torque/power than a ls2 and i bet you will blow the doors off a ls2 ie...

head gaskets sounds like head gaskets to me mate.Look just because you arent getting water in your oil doesnt mean a gasket hasent gone,if you are getting moisture on your oil cap it surely will be a head gasket has gone ,because what happens is the gasket will have a cut in it from excess heat...

o2 sensors check ya o2 sensors mate they trigger the engine light. undo em mate see if they rattle at all
