Also on another note - there is a temporary fix that another member here suggested. If you disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 30-60 secs and re-connect it should clear the fault code temporarily and the thermostat & AC will work again for a week or so. It will inevitably fail...
Hey mate, I just had the same thing happen two weeks ago. Mine is a second hand 2018 VXR. Got it into my local Holden Service Centre this week after telling them the issue.
They said that this was a semi-common problem with the ZB's and knew exactly how to fix. Dropped it off and they ended up...
Sounds like a complete lie. All the ZB's have CarPlay. No such thing as CarPlay with Siri only / "base model".
I'd keep well away from this dealership and possibly lodge a complaint with GM.
Wow. What a car. Amazing upgrade - very jealous. I'm still going with the VXR - for now. Seem to have started to develop a similar rattle to what you refer to. Mostly when it's warmer weather. Hopefully I can upgrade to an M3 some time soon too haha.
Took it to the dealer and because it’s intermittent they couldn’t replicate the fault themselves. Will have to take it back there again and show them. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! Driving me crazy
Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any issues with wired CarPlay in the ZB lagging when skipping songs?
I have a 2018 VXR and the CarPlay sometimes takes more than 20 seconds to change songs when using the buttons on the steering wheel or centre console. If I use the touch screen though it...
That’s great to hear as I need up going with the DBA pads and discs.
I spoke with Matt at Race Brakes Sydney this morning and they got me some DBA street series rotors and DBA Street Performance pads. Picked them up and then got them installed today.
Hard to give a full idea as they may need...
Awesome thanks for that! I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow. I have found some DBA options for pads and rotors for a much cheaper price.
Do you have any opinion on DBA? Wondering if its worth trying them out!
Does anyone have experience with aftermarket pads and discs on the VXR? I got a quote from the dealer when I got it serviced - $1189 for front and $845 for rear, $2034 in total! I believe they may be Brembo OEM front pads? (The calipers are Brembo on the front on the VXR).
Not sure whether it's...
