True, I got 1 3/4 long tube, 100cell 2.5 inch hsv OTR and made 410hp with 700nm.. my tuner told me going large isn't necessarily better. 1 7/8 with 3 inch is too large I believe for non cam non supercharged LS3.

OTR, 2.5 inch with long tube 1 3/4 with a tune got me 410hp at the wheels which whilst it goes hard, I'm entertaining the idea of a cam. So for me, short answer is yes

I paid 2k for 1 3/4 long tube pacemakers with 100cell hi flows supplied and fitted. Cheap is cheap for a reason

Mate, it doesn't stop. While you think you are done, in 6 months you will be tossing between 1 3/4 and 1 7/8. And all it will take is a shitty tuned golf r to get a slight edge at the traffic lights
