It will rise and fall during idle from the fan kicking in when the coolant gets to hot, not while driving.

Ill take the full stone, you can take the half stone.

Very hard to tell when you cant see rails etc. These cars are basically worth nothing now days, so it doesn't take much to write them off. It will be fixable, but the question will be if its worth it.

Gutting a cat will make it sound worse, make very little if any difference in performance and is very very illegal.

RVX got them an loved them. For $540 you cannot expect real leather, hence they are Pleather.

Can get them off ebay, have a look.
