    I replaced the entire roof lining in my vx myself, $25 of the fabric of your choice at spotlight. $25 foam from Clark rubber and a $15 can of upholstery spray adhesive. A few upholstery YouTube videos later it’s not so hard.

    Update spark plugs went in today, didn’t fix the issue but that were black as hell. Coil packs next.

    Fuses were checked everything is perfect, every relay with any possible reasoning to the issue has been replaced. I replaced the fuel pump because I noticed a lack of fuel whilst driving and was advised by a mechanic that was the issue. It was not. I have new coil packs and sparks on the way...

    My vx calais has been having starting issues and only will unwantingly start when I kick the accelerator with great aggression. I have today just replaced the fuel pump. Any ideas ?

    Just a follow up to this post. I have noticed that the car starts first try when getting started with jumper leads. Could it be a power drawing issue? Not enough power getting to the pump ?
