Hi Guys, I am seeking to find out if I can install factory fog lights on my newly brought VE Commodore Omega Series 1 on the standard bar ?

There not the exact same engine as in my VZ there smaller and different design and different parts. I very rarely hear anything about the VZ timing chain but I am starting to hear about the Captiva V6 timing chain being a costly issue so I need to know the models it affect's the year etc.

I am looking into getting a 2006 upwards Captiva soon but which engine to go for is an issue I have been hearing about a timing chain problem with the 6 is this true ? What are the diesel's like for the Captiva ?

Then why have the wiring and relay there ?

It didn't have one before but the plug was there behind a blank cover so I got the switch. A bit confused as the tail gate locks & unlocks with the remote ?

Brought a boot release switch from ebay genuine holden part installed it but it does not pop open my tail gate all I get is a click noise under the drivers dash. Is there something else I need to do to get it working or is there a fault ?

Nothing I can do about any warranty on them as I do not have proof of purchase. I also don't do much driving in my wagon.

I have the same issue I get no instant notification email's from JC. Everything has been looked over and nothing wrong on my end. I have no issues from all the other forums I am a member of.
