it maybe cause by bad weatherproofing, You could have damaged window and door seals or clogged door drains. This can allow water to get into the door panels and leak. better take it to auto shop

Better to get a 2nd check to other mechanics, its seems everything is fine maybe your mechanic missed something

if you are going cheap better try japan grade car parts its better quality
